Aug 1-30: The Art of Madderdoit - Madderdoit?. Born in the Midlands of England and raised in Cornwall, Madderdoit now relives in Laois. A self-taught street artist, he uses bold colours and monochrome images in his works. He became interested in graffiti and street art while studying media and photography at college. He began by documenting friends' graffiti work and then created his own pieces, experimenting with stencils and
spray paint. His work is internationally recognised
and is in collections in more than 15 countries

 

Sept 4-30: apple spider fork - Curated by Johnny McMahon.
Presented as part of Lasta Festival, a national arts
festival curated by young people for young people, apple spider fork explores the shifting landscape of
images, symbols, and visual language in contemporary culture. The exhibition considers how images
and symbols gather new meanings as they are shared, repeated, distorted, and reinterpreted
